Introduction
Doctrine ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Doctrine mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
By using our App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
On-Device Data
All content you create — vision boards, affirmations, visualizations, debriefs, and saved quotes — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We never access, collect, or transmit this data.
Images
Photos you add to vision boards are stored locally on your device's file system. They are never uploaded to any server.
Purchase Information
If you purchase Doctrine Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase status. We do not receive or store your payment credentials.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, notification scheduling is handled entirely on your device. No data is sent to our servers.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Doctrine does not collect any of the following:
- Email addresses or account information (no accounts exist)
- Analytics or usage tracking data
- Advertising identifiers or cookies
- Location data
- Cloud-stored personal data of any kind
We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs or tracking tools.
Third-Party Services
Apple App Store
In-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not store your payment credentials. Apple handles all payment processing and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to verify purchase and entitlement status. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous device identifier. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
Data Security
Your data never leaves your device. There is nothing to breach because we don't have your data. All content is stored locally using on-device storage and your device's file system.
Your Rights
You control your data entirely. All content lives on your device and nowhere else. To delete all data, simply delete the app. No account deletion process is needed because there are no accounts.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
